Dr. Irma Aguilera trained and practised in Paraguay, Dr. Anshuman Modi ran his own clinic in India for a decade, Dr. Rashi Gupta completed the National Dental Examining Board equivalency in 2024, and Dr. Tyler Halabi, the local one, trained at Griffith University in Australia.

A technician’s eye for fit

Dr. Jiteshkumar Motisariya — Dr. Kumar to his patients — arrived with a dental degree from India, took an honours diploma in dental technology at NAIT and worked in an Edmonton lab before licensing as a dentist here. Crowns, bridges and dentures are judged by someone who has made them. Dr. Halabi carries the emergency and cosmetic load; the clinic undertakes to seat a patient in pain within two hours of the call during working time.

The instrument protocol is spelled out rather than implied: an ultrasonic disinfecting bath, then a STATIM steam autoclave with monthly spore testing, and handpieces that cannot be soaked going through the same autoclave.
