What You Need for the Classes
To get the full learning experience and participate in the hands-on sessions, you will need a camera with interchangeable lenses and the ability for manual control. If you don’t have a camera, you can try borrowing one from family or friends, or you can ask us about rental options. We have partners in Edmonton that provide equipment for a period of time: “Vistek” and “McBain’s”.
If you live in another city and need a place to stay during the classes, you can contact the Providence Renewal Centre, where the school is located. The centre has single and double rooms, but the conditions here are very ‘spartan’. A few minutes from the centre, there are also several hotels with better amenities.
